Tuition and Financial Aid

Burgundy recognizes the financial investment families make when choosing an independent school education. One of every four students receives some financial aid.

Investment is the best legacy

Although families and extended families take primary responsibility for the cost of a student's education, we are committed to helping parents who need assistance afford the choice of a Burgundy education. Burgundy offers need-based financial aid.

Financial aid awards are reviewed on a yearly basis. Parents of aid recipients must submit a School and Student Services by NAIS (SSS) Parents’ Financial Statement (PFS) and federal tax documents each year. One quarter of Burgundy students receive financial assistance.

The Black Student Fund and Latino Student Fund may offer limited financial support to some families attending independent schools. Educational loans may also be available.

For families paying full tuition and those receiving financial aid, three tuition payment options are available:

  • 100% (minus the $1,200 tuition deposit) for a discount of 1% of tuition
  • 60/40 plan (60% in June and 40% in January, minus the $1,200 tuition deposit)
  • Interest-free monthly payments over 11 months, with a one-time $150 service fee

Please feel free to call the Business Office at 703.960.3431 with questions regarding tuition, payment management options, or financial aid.
