Families enjoy a wide variety of opportunities to volunteer in and out of the classroom at Burgundy.
From our founding, parents and families giving of their time has been critical to Burgundy's success both as a school and as a supportive community hub. Partnership with families allows parents to stay connected with their child and the school throughout their education at Burgundy. Every day you can see parents of students of all ages on campus. They help in the classrooms, work in the library, organize community service activities, accompany classes on field trips, make sets and costumes for class plays, take on shifts to help during special events, and serve on various committees at the school (including the Board of Trustees!).
At Burgundy, there is a way for everyone to participate and contribute! Coordination of classroom and event volunteers is done by the Burgundy Parent Association (BPA). Want to get involved? Reach out!
Volunteer Appreciation Day
All Burgundy volunteers are invited and encouraged to attend a morning appreciation reception on campus each spring. Attendees mingle with staff, parents, and friends who graciously contribute their time, talent, and hard work to the school throughout the year.
