Commons and ACC

While work is continuing inside the building, the most visible progress the last several days has been outside on the Campus Commons. Workers have begun installing the multi-colored asphalt pavers that create the top surface of the Commons. While pavers are being installed, access to the library requires going around the back (orchard and garden side) of the building. We appreciate your understanding and patience as construction progresses.

When complete, we’re happy to share that the Campus Commons will be dedicated to Ann Van Deusen, longtime Burgundy librarian and alumni parent and grandparent. Ann retired from Burgundy in June 2015 and passed away later that year.

The new bridge from the Gym and Middle School is being built and will connect to the Art & Community Center’s big porch, which will have benches and other seating areas.

Pavers are beginning to cover the Campus Commons surface.

The bridge is being rebuilt.
